Published by Meandar from Zagreb, translated by Jelena Luzhina, edited by Branko Chegec, The Velvet Shroud, a book of novelettes about women-murderers, is now available to the Croatian readers.

The main characters of this book are authentic, as well as their actions. Some of their basic biographical data is borrowed from the Dictionary of Assasins by Rene Reouvin. The rest is a result of the author's imagination.
